Many species make up this group. They also form part of the group of pod-suckers. This is more a reference to a characteristic rather than a particular species.
They have a distinctive broad, triangular head, prominent eyes, a slender body and many have long thin legs. They are usually brown in colour. Many have strong scent glands.
In some species the nymphs mimic ants.
