Description

This lady beetle is black with two orange-red spots on its back, hence the other common name. It is covered in very tiny hairs which give it a slightly fuzzy look.

Adult size: 2.5 mm

Out and about

Native to Australia this lady beetle is found mainly on the east coast and southern regions with a smaller distribution on the south-west coast of Western Australia.
